AccessData, which provides incident resolution solutions, is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia to support the burgeoning demand for cybersecurity and digital forensics solutions in highly-regulated sectors such as the government, law enforcement, defence, financial services and corporate markets.

In line with this, it has announced the appointment of a regional sales director based out of Singapore, as well as other technical support and technical account management hires in the country. Nicholas Tay, who was previously with companies such as Extreme Networks, OPNET, Actiance and WatchGuard Technologies, will lead a multi-national sales team across the ASEAN region, covering both direct and indirect selling through channels.

The expansion of the team follows the setting up an international forensic lab in Singapore.

“AccessData is investing heavily in the Asia Pacific and ASEAN region as we anticipate exponential growth driven not only by demand for our technical solutions, but also for our professional services and training capabilities,” said Luke Brown, Senior Vice President & General Manager, International.

In April, AccessData launched its ResolutionOne Platform (previously named InSight Platform), a Continuous, Automated Incident Resolution platform that delivers workflows and capabilities to detect, analyse and resolve data events such as security breaches, e-discovery and other Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) issues. The platform integrates network, endpoint and malware analysis, end-to-end e-discovery and remediation technologies, making it possible for security, legal and compliance teams to collaborate in real time to address security incidents and legal matters.
