SolarWinds, which
provides downloadable, enterprise-class network management software, has
launched its operations in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC). Through its APAC
headquarters in Singapore, SolarWinds provides multilingual sales, customer
support, and services across Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia,
New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan.
As part of this expansion, SolarWinds also announced a new distribution
relationship with M.Tech, a regional distributor of IT security, networking
and storage products. The agreement expands access to SolarWinds' solutions
for network engineers and IT organisations throughout much of the Asia
market.
"Our expansion into the APAC region follows our successful move into the
European and Middle East markets in 2007. The establishment of our regional
operations will enable us to provide even better responsiveness and
localised support for our growing base of customers and partners in Asia,"
said Mike Bennett, president and CEO, SolarWinds.
SolarWinds has experienced consistent, rising demand in the Asia-Pacific
region, and our customers include major companies such as SingTel, TSMA,
PetroChina and Telstra. The newly established relationship with M.Tech will
allow SolarWinds to quickly expand its reach in Asia by providing key
training and fulfillment support for area resellers in ten countries.
"An important element of SolarWinds' global success is working closely with
trusted local organisations, like M.Tech, that have deep market
understanding and brand recognition," said Victor Choo, director of sales -
Asia, SolarWinds. "M.Tech's expertise in delivering critical
enterprise-class services and their reputation for strong channel support
make them an ideal partner in this market."
