Indonesia's largest
information and communication company TELKOM and Singapore-based leading IT
and communications engineering service provider NCS Group, have signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the joint development and
marketing of information and communication technology (ICT) services to
their respective corporate customers.
The scope of the MOU includes the sharing of product and market knowledge as
well as the development of joint services and marketing programmes between
TELKOM and NCS.
Rinaldi Firmansyah, Chief Executive Officer of TELKOM, said, “The signing of
the MOU is a clear representation of our determination and commitment to
enable ICT services for our corporate customers.”
This collaboration will bring together the two parties’ core competencies –
TELKOM’s strong position and in-depth knowledge of the corporate market in
Indonesia, and NCS’ proven capabilities and expertise to deliver end-to-end
ICT solutions. These solutions span from consulting to application
development and maintenance, infrastructure management and e-Government
solutions.
Allen Lew, Chairman of NCS Group, said, “Both TELKOM and NCS will explore
tapping our joint capabilities to develop ICT services that benefit
corporate customers. At the same time, we look forward to this opportunity
to widen the scope of knowledge-sharing between our companies.”
This is a strategic move towards driving synergies and growth between both
companies, added Lim Eng, Chief Executive Officer of NCS. “Through our joint
efforts, we are confident that corporate customers will benefit from a full
spectrum of ICT solutions and services,” he said.
