Oracle has announced the
latest release of its CRM (Customer Relationship Management) On Demand
offering and is targeting new CRM On Demand market opportunities in Asia
Pacific with its partners.
Oracle CRM On Demand Release 14 is available starting at US$70 per user per
month.
Research firm Gartner has forecast that the CRM market in Asia Pacific will
grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.9 per cent, between 2006
and 2011, to reach US$846.4 million total software revenue in 2011.
To address this opportunity, Oracle partners are combining its CRM On Demand
applications with business consulting, technical and service support.
"Oracle is leveraging its vast partner network to introduce Oracle's CRM On
Demand into markets across Asia Pacific," said Will Bosma, vice president,
CRM, Oracle Asia Pacific. "Large and small-and medium businesses are seeing
benefits from expanding CRM across all facets of their business.
Organisations across Asia Pacific are realising significant results from
integrating CRM across sales, marketing and customer service operations."
Oracle's partners in the region include Blue Star and Wipro in India, hiSoft
in China, Jardine OneSolution in Hong Kong, PT Sigma Solusi Integrasi and PT
Asaba Computer Center in Indonesia, Headstrong and Active Business Solutions
in the Philippines, S&I Systems and Ness Global in Singapore, Sunway
Business Applications and Mason Technologies in Malaysia, Asparona and
Fusion5 in New Zealand, and CRM Now, Bright Blue Solutions, Jigsaw Services
and Ndevr in Australia.
According to Rebecca Tohill, managing director of Fusion5, CRM on Demand has
a great appeal to a broad range of organisations, especially small and
medium enterprises, because on-premise CRM is often viewed as expensive to
own and implement.
According to Bosma, Release 14 of CRM on Demand brings together hosted CRM
software with the latest in Web 2.0 technologies. "Oracle CRM On Demand
introduces a new level of ease-of-use in on demand applications while
providing powerful configuration and administration capabilities to business
users at the point of attack to make organisations more flexible and agile,"
he said. |
