SAP and CA announce availability of SAP Extended Diagnostics Application

Business software provider SAP and IT management software company CA have announced a global reseller agreement that will enable SAP to resell the CA Wily Introscope solution as SAP Extended Diagnostics by CA Wily, a comprehensive application performance management solution that helps to ensure mission-critical Web applications and Web services meet customers’ business and performance goals. The announcement was made at SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore, being held November 12–14, in Bangalore, India.

The multi-year partnership between CA and SAP is supported by more than 1,500 SAP customers who have downloaded CA Wily Introscope from the SAP Service Marketplace. SAP Extended Diagnostics complements and bolsters the ability of SAP NetWeaver to manage mission-critical Web application performance in large, complex and highly distributed SOA and virtualised environments. SAP provides Wily Introscope for SAP products as part of SAP Solution Manager. With SAP Extended Diagnostics, SAP customers can now extend the use of CA Wily Introscope also for custom code and non-SAP applications.
