Salesforce.com launches Force.com Free Edition in Singapore

Salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing company, has announced a new offering that will help Singaporean companies build and run their first cloud computing application for free.

The new offering, Force.com Free Edition, is part of an initiative by the company to set the enterprise standard for application development and deployment in the cloud for companies in Singapore.

“Force.com Free Edition will enable every company in Singapore to experience success with cloud computing. This will empower any company to build and run their first cloud computing app for free,” said Andrew Knott, vice president, APAC marketing, salesforce.com

Force.com is salesforce.com's enterprise cloud computing platform. It provides everything companies need to quickly build and deliver business applications in the cloud, including the database, unlimited real-time customisation, powerful analytics, real-time workflow and approvals, programmable cloud logic, integration, real-time mobile deployment, programmable user interface and Web site capabilities.

Force.com Free Edition provides everything companies need to get started building their first app in the cloud and deploy it to up to 100 users.
