Avaloq, the Swiss market
leader for banking software, has appointed Comit AG, the IT solutions
provider for the financial services industry as its implementation partner
for the Singapore market.
Avaloq and Comit AG have been working together closely in Switzerland for 11
years. The proven partnership is now to take on an international dimension.
Comit AG, which has held the status of a premium implementation partner for
the core banking solution Avaloq Banking System in Switzerland since 1 July
2006, is Avaloq's official implementation partner for the Southeast Asian
city state.
Comit has been present in Singapore since 2006, where it has a workforce of
20 managing local implementation projects. More than 10 per cent of Comit
AG's revenues already stem from international project business.
Francisco Fernandez, CEO of Avaloq Evolution AG, said the Singapore location
is of fundamental importance to Avaloq's internationalisation strategy. “The
expansion of our partnership with Comit is testimony to our company's
commitment to Southeast Asia," he added.
The Avaloq Community has grown further with the intensification of the
partnership with Comit AG. This network of excellence brings together Avaloq,
its customers and all its partners in a “hub”, in which first-rate partners
in the fields of implementation, software, services and technology can pool
above-average core competencies and together develop and drive forward
innovative and efficient solutions at different levels.
Marcel Walker, CEO of Comit AG said, "We have continually strengthened our
presence in Southeast Asia over the past few years and provide our customers
and partners with support from our Singapore office.”
“The implementation of core banking systems is one of our company's core
competencies. For this reason, we now look forward to pressing ahead
together with Avaloq with interesting projects in Singapore." |
