Service-oriented architecture specialist Software AG has announced that it has completed the integration of Software AG and webMethods’ partner programmes. webMethods, a business process integration software company, was acquired by Software AG in June this year for US$560 million.

According to Software AG, the integration of both companies’ respective partner programmes has been achieved ahead of schedule. New programme initiatives to support partners’ global activities and responding to tender offers have also been launched.

David Mitchell, COO webMethods Business Division at Software AG, said, “We are enabling our partners to better address market requirements and our customers to deliver on the promise and the business opportunity provided by Business Process Management (BPM) and a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)”.

New features of the partner programme include “process frameworks” designed to capture the specific industry knowledge of partners and integrate it into Software AG’s product suite. This enables partners to quickly complete proof-of-concepts project for customers, demonstrating industry expertise and shorten the request for tender process.

Partners of both Software AG and webMethods are involved in designing the “process frameworks” and addressing the business needs of customers, said Software AG.
