Wave Systems has completed
a reseller agreement with Singapore-listed IT services provider Frontline
Technologies.
Under this agreement, Frontline - which has a strong Pan-Asian presence with
footprints in nine countries and more than 65 cities in the region - is
authorised to market and sell Wave’s line of client and server solutions in
the greater Asia Pacific region, as well as advise its clients on the uses
of those solutions to strengthen data protection, strong authentication and
network access control throughout the client’s enterprise.
Frontline’s expertise in enterprise-class IT services, support
infrastructure and their significant regional presence makes them an ideal
partner to help Wave expand its presence in the Asia Pacific region,
observed Richard Shuck, Wave’s vice president, Asia sales and marketing.
“Their high-touch, end-to-end approach to deployment can add immediate value
to IT customers’ security solutions requirements with Wave enterprise class
software,” he said.
Wave’s EMBASSY client and server software leverages the security features of
the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), an open standards security chip that
serves as a tamper-resistant storage vault for user credentials.
By leveraging Wave’s software plus the TPM, enterprises can immediately roll
out strong authentication, including machine, biometric and smart card
authentication, as well as instituting stronger network policies, key
management and data protection.
“With trusted security hardware becoming a common feature on
enterprise-class PCs, our partnership with Wave will enable us to offer our
customers industry-leading trusted computing software solutions to address
their most pressing security concerns,” said Wong Wai Meng, managing
director of Frontline. |
