announces new worldwide partner programme

provider Informatica has launched its new worldwide partner programme,
INFORM, designed to make it even easier for organisations to collaborate
with Informatica in bringing the benefits of total enterprise data
interaction and quality to their customers around the globe.
The INFORM programme builds on Informatica’s long-standing Alliance
Programme, introducing new formalised engagement models, a new tiered
structure offering a variety of ways to work with Informatica, and a new
partner portal called beINFORMed for around-the-clock access to enablement,
demo and evaluation, lead management, and informational assets.
The programme’s three partnership tiers — Foundation, Elite and Global —
provide mounting levels of benefits to partners, corresponding to their
level of commitment to Informatica. Integral to the new programme are new
alliance management resources and an all-new alliance management structure
aimed at driving closer, more efficient, and more productive collaborations.
“INFORM manifests Informatica’s commitment to working closely with leading
software, system integration and technology partners to deliver innovative
end-to-end solutions,” said Harry Gould, senior vice president, worldwide
alliances, Informatica.
“When designing INFORM, we listened carefully to partners and have created a
programme aligned precisely to their needs. We have now made it easier to be
an effective Informatica partner, and easier for partners to step up their
commitments, obtain commensurate benefits and deliver even more value to
customers,” he said.
All three levels of partnership have access to Informatica direct sales
teams and to the full spectrum of resources delivered through the new
beINFORMed portal. These resources include partner enablement assets that
span a wide range of product education and training options. Included is
access to Informatica’s eLearning training system, which allows partners to
personalise their learning plans, assess their Informatica skills and take
advantage of the same education courses that Informatica customers enjoy.
The services also encompass access to technical enablement resources, demo
and evaluation software, a secure lead registration and management system,
the ability to self-manage demo licence renewals as well as various other
valuable resources necessary for successful partnering with Informatica.
Additionally, beINFORMed provides online lead management capabilities. These
include joint sales opportunity registration and reporting, joint pipeline
management and reporting, and influence fee tracking. The portal also
provides self-service access to Informatica’s extensive technical and
marketing information resources, covering all Informatica products and
