CA selects Avnet as value-added distributor

Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of global technology distributor Avnet, now acts as the primary sales interface in Singapore for CA’s enterprise IT management software, following the signing of an agreement. CA, one of the world's largest independent software companies, provides software solutions to unify and simplify IT management.

As part of the agreement, Avnet Technology Solutions, through Singapore subsidiary, Avnet Partner Solutions now manages CA’s day-to-day sales activities, with a sharp focus on the areas of Business Service Optimization (BSO), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Application Performance Management (APM), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Project & Portfolio Management (PPM).

Avnet will now serve as the value-added distributor for CA’s enterprise solutions, while streamlining operations and marketing and building solid relationships with the Avnet and CA channel partners community.

Avnet’s Vice President and General Manager, Avnet Technology Solutions, ASEAN, William Chu said over the next six to 12 months, Avnet aims to roll out complementary services featuring CA technology to generate new sales opportunities.

Presiding over the CA portfolio in Singapore are two former CA specialists who have joined the Avnet team to extend their expertise in serving existing and new customers.

CA’s customers in Singapore will continue to enjoy access to the company’s considerable support capabilities via their IT management infrastructures, while CA’s regional leadership and Singapore office staff complement maintains a close daily working relationship with Avnet. This includes regular training sessions designed to keep Avnet up to speed with CA’s developing IT management portfolio.
