McAfee unveils 10 Gigabit Ethernet Intrusion Prevention System

McAfee has announced the McAfee IntruShield 10 Gigabit Ethernet platform, an advanced and comprehensive network intrusion prevention solution designed to meet the explosive growth of IPS into the network core and data centre, as well as the rapid growth of high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet and IPv6 networks.
 
IntruShield’s action-oriented security allows the enterprise to automatically manage risk and meet compliance. The network-class platform is for any enterprise that needs absolute security confidence, up to 10-gigabit performance, and collaborative security for integrated and intelligent enterprise-wide protection.

Together with McAfee's security risk management (SRM) framework, IntruShield collaborates with McAfee Foundstone, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and McAfee Network Access Control (NAC) to provide intelligent and real-time security.
