06/06/2007
Enterprise gateway security
company, Secure Computing, has opened a new facility in Singapore to support
growing customer demand across the region for the company's line of network,
messaging and web gateway security solutions as well as its identity and
access management products.
Said Robert Prigge, Secure
Computing Vice President of Sales, Asia/Pacific, "Singapore remains a very
strategic market for us and this expansion illustrates our continued
commitment."
Located in Suntec City Tower
2, the new facility enables expanded training for customers and business
partners. Additionally, the space will cater to product demonstrations and product
testing, and will employ additional sales, marketing and system engineering
staff. The Singapore office plans to double its manpower by the end of 2007.
"The consolidation of
disparate security technologies into a cost effective and easy-to-use
appliance is clearly the trend for all enterprises," says Secure Computing
Singapore Country Manager Benjamin Low.
Secure Computing's integrated
'TrustedSource' reputation system identifies malicious sites and threats
across a broad range of criteria. Broadening our geographic reach is a
natural evolution that ties into our continued product growth and
acceleration, he added.
