Tumbleweed expands presence in APAC through TAP

Managed file transfer and content security provider Tumbleweed Communications is expanding its presence and expertise in the APAC region through Tumbleweed’s Alliance Program (TAP), through which Tumbleweed adds an extensive arm of qualified security people to its current partner network in three markets – Australia, India and Malaysia.

“With messaging and information security threats constantly on the rise and evolving at a rapid pace, organisations are increasingly investing in the execution and upgrade of their security systems,” said Stree Naidu, Regional Vice President, APAC, Tumbleweed.

“To cater to this growing demand, Tumbleweed is focused on expanding our partner network across the APAC region,” he added.

Tumbleweed continues to bring on board Tumbleweed’s Alliance Programme (TAP) four India partners in Q4 2007 and one Australia partner in Q1 2008.
 
Additionally, two Malaysia partners ACW Distribution and Avnet Azure have renewed their partnerships with Tumbleweed. In India, the partners are namely NetEdge Computing Solutions, Nortech Infonet, SoftCell Technologies and Texport Technologies and in Australia, Sigma 5.

Tumbleweed has more than 3,000 customers worldwide, including blue-chip companies across an array of industries such as Technology, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecom, Energy, and the US Government.
