PC maker Lenovo has announced the deployment of its ThinkPad technology by Ngee Ann, Singapore, Republic and Temasek Polytechnics as well as the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). With the acquisition of Think technology for its students, these institutions become the latest educational institutions in Singapore to empower their students with Lenovo’s Think technologies.

Lenovo will be providing the Polytechnics and ITE with ThinkPads from across the range of this iconic product. Students will be equipped with ThinkPads X200, W500, T400 and R400.

“Lenovo is thrilled that the students across the polytechnics and ITE will be benefitting from the same technology used across major businesses the world over. The ThinkPad is a living icon of mobile computing and now students in these institutions will also have the advantages of reliability and enhanced productivity offered by the ThinkPad. Distinct features like our active protection system and ThinkVantage Technologies, relied on by business users for nearly two decades, are now in the hands of the next generation of business leaders,” said Ronnie Lee, Country General Manager, Lenovo Singapore.

Lenovo’s Think technologies – from ThinkPad notebooks to ThinkCentre desktops – are deployed at numerous educational institutions across Singapore.
