At the Zii Summit 2009 held
in Shenzhen, China, Creative Technology and ZiiLABS, a cutting-edge media
processor and platforms company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Creative
Technology announced that they would be engaging with China’s high-tech
companies to explore how they can leverage on the Zii Plaszma Platform to
bring high quality, high performance products rapidly to markets worldwide
using ZiiLABS’ StemCell Computing Technology.
“By participating in the Zii Ecosystem with its full suite of development
platforms, devices, services, and content, our partners will be able to
leverage on the collective wisdom of the Ecosystem, ready-to-go
state-of-the-art technologies, brand equities, award-winning industrial
designs, efficient manufacturing capabilities, marketing experience and
supply chain infrastructure to rapidly create world class products under
their own brands for the worldwide market,” said Sim Wong Hoo, Founder and
CEO of Creative Technology, a worldwide leader in digital entertainment
products.
Developed with an investment cost of US$1 billion, the revolutionary
StemCell Computing powered Zii Plaszma Platform is a powerful complete
ecosystem solution for developers. Beginning with chip, board and platforms
(both Zii Plaszma and Android Operating Systems are supported), to products
and services, the Zii Plaszma Platform frees innovators from the tedious,
costly complexity of hardware and software development to create energy
efficient, high performance 3D and HD products quickly and cost effectively.
“We are committed to the success of our partners and have invested over US$1
billion to build the most flexible, scalable and power efficient range of
developer’s building blocks to enable them to create eco-friendly world
class products,” added Sim.
“Now is the time to make high-tech go green, eco-friendly and profitable. By
proliferating StemCell Computing Technology together, there is a great
potential to transform the way we live, and help mankind move forward
towards a greener planet. Collectively, we now have the potential to
rehabilitate the earth and create a sustainable planet for ourselves and
future generations to come.” |
